Our Staff

Dr. Jan Henriques, Au.D has been practicing Audiology for over 21 years. She opened Progressive Audiology Center in the Towne Lake area of Woodstock in the Spring of 1998 and her second office in Jasper in 2003. She received her Doctorate degree from the University of Florida and her Masters Degree from the Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is a member of several professional and civic organizations including the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, the American Tinnitus Association, and is a past President of the Towne Lake Optimist club and the Georgia Academy of Audiology. Dr. Henriques is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Lawrence Bridge Au.D joined Progressive Audiology Center May 2009.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from East Carolina University and recently received his Doctorate degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana.

Dr. Christa Nelms, Au.D. joined Progressive Audiology in August 2010.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Carolina Greensboro, her Masters Degree from The University of Virginia and her Doctorate degree from The University of Florida.  She began practicing audiology in Greensboro, NC in 2000 and moved to Atlanta, GA to practice audiology in 2001.  She currently lives in Woodstock with her husband and two sons.
